09/10 Indoor Off-road Championships24.10.09, 14.11.09, 12.12.09, 16.01.10, 20.02.10, 13.03.10 Welcome to the home of West Bridgford Model Car Club Indoor Off Road Championships.
A six round championship catering for off-road buggies and short course trucks. Indoors so no need to get wet to enjoy your favourite class of radio controlled model car racing over the winter. Four rounds from the six count towards the final standings. 4 rounds of Qualifying, plus one legged finals for everyone. Five races in total!!
Our Indoor venue is one of biggest carpet tracks in the midlands, with multi surface and purpose made obstacles to challenge even the best off-road drivers. Tuck shop is available for hot drinks and snacks. Doors Open at 9:30am Racing to start at 11:00am.
Junior Championship in each class. Juniors have to be under 17 on the 01-01-09

The 13th of March saw the final round of the 09/10 West Bridgford Model Car Club Indoor On Road Championships take place.
Congratulations to the winners of the three championships, 4wd: Nathan Waters, Short Course Trucks: Craig Nutting and 2wd winner Danny (Race 4wd Wess and i will flog you my weights!) Austin.
Congratulations must also go out to the Junior championship winner in 2wd and 4wd Ashley Caunt.
Custom Blitz sponsored the series yet again and was generous enough to give prizes of free spray jobs to the top drivers in each class and also gave away two lucky dip prizes to be awarded on the day. Congratulations to Rich Smith and Richard Law who were lucky enough to win the prizes.
The series this year has been great, the tracks have got better as the series have gone and the attendance has been great. Thanks to everyone who came to race and we hope to see you next year at the bigger and better than ever WBMCC Indoor off road championships. |

There are prizes for the top three in each championship including a special prize for the championship winners from our sponsor Custom Blitz. So make sure you get yourselves booked in. |

So last saturday saw us run the first round of this years championship. A good turn out for the first round with some great racing in all classes. Congratulations to the first round winners, Andy Wesson in 2wd, Nathan Waters in 4wd and Craig Nutting in Short Course Trucks. There has been a slight rule change to the tyres alowed for use in the short course trucks class. The rules now only allow to use kit standard tyres,instead of any availiable tyre. This will be cheaper for everyone entering this class in the long run and also keep things even. The rules do allow you, if you can fit them to run different kit tyres on a diferent car, i.e if you can fit them you can run slash tyres on an Sc10. |
