27.04.10 - Summer venue address and directions added.

The address and directions to the summer venue for this years club summer championships has been added to the directions pages.  We hope to hold our first outdoor meeting on the 14th of May.  We will let you know if this is the case or not when we have had clarification.

24.04.10 - Regional at Wbmcc - Bingham

Here is a link to the site: http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=&daddr=52.954283,-0.969785&hl=en&geocode=&mra=mi&mrsp=0&sz=19&sll=52.954262,-0.969865&sspn=0.000874,0.002057&ie=UTF8&ll=52.953324,-0.969887&spn=0.003497,0.008229&z=17

Or if you haven't got a satnav and wish to use the good old fashioned brain :D then here are some directions: where the A46 and A52 meets at Saxondale roundabout (the big one with the petrol station) turn onto Nottingham road (into bingham) then its the first left onto Balmoral road, turn left when you reach the end, onto Wychwood road, follow the road round, you want the 5th left onto Brendon grove, you should see a little sign saying "Pavilion", then approx 100mtrs turn right onto a carpark and you are there.

See you all there Sunday 25th April :D

Mayday Mayhem 07.05.10

Mayday Mayhem is back again for another fun filled and exciting event. This year will hopefully as good and probably better than last years event and we are inviting you and a team of your friends to race and hopefully win the Mayday Mayhem cup.

The beauty of endurance racing is that it is not the team with the fastest car who wins, it is the team who is the most consistent and have a reliable set-up. As this is a team event then it also means that individual skill is not a factor and so each team has an equal chance of winning.

WBMCC are looking for a maximum of ten teams to compete in this event, so if you think you are the next David Brabham or Allan Mcnish, then get yourself a team together and sign up for this event.

I know i am biased as i only live up the road but i think this will be a good venue, there is a container nearby which makes setting up and packing away easier also toilets and a Bar, although there will be folk music in there from 8:30pm
Bad news : I dont think there will be much space for any On-road. so we will not be supporting On-road this summer Sorry Folks...
Good News: Mucho Off-Road
If you are in the area on the 25th april then come along as it is Wbmcc's turn to hold the regionals that day, so come along and have a look.
